We’ve had a book club now in St John the Baptist Parish for five years. We take on a book a month with the aim of broadening our reading habits, sometimes in the faith field and sometimes looking at the culture and times we live in and what those two elements might be doing to us. The group meet in St John’s Parish Centre on the fourth Thursday of the month from 4pm to 5pm and discuss the book under review.
