Books give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind,
flight to the imagination and life to everything.
The members of the Parish Book Club meet in the Presbytery, 186 Clontarf Road, on the third Thursday of the month from 7.30 to 8.30 pm. New members are always welcome.
The books they read are in some way related to the living of our faith, sometimes in a very broad sense, and they cover a wide variety of interesting topics. It is not formal religious study. The format is an informal discussion of the book that the group has been reading that month. It is always very beneficial to listen to the differing points of view in the group.
To read without reflecting is like eating without digesting.
