Among the items discussed at the Parish Pastoral Council meeting on 21st October were the following: 1. We explored possible new ways of co-operating across the three parishes, following on from Fr Pat McManus retiring as Moderator and Fr Martin being appointed in his place. 2. We had a discussion about the Teen Hope programme and explored ways of attracting more young people to it. 3. We discussed the need for new members for the PPC; we were very pleased that two new people have agreed to come on but we need one or two more. 4. We began to look at how we might draw more people into the various parish groups. It is hoped to have an ‘open house’ of stalls of parish groups in the Parish Centre in the spring. 5. An update was given on new child protection procedures and on the new Diocesan safeguarding policy for vulnerable adults. 6. We reflected on the implications of our Mass attendance count over the past three years
