‘Heaven Sent’, a play based on the Book of Tobit, Palm Sunday, 7.30 pm

The Clontarf Players are putting on the above play in the Church of Saint John the Baptist, Clontarf Road, on Palm Sunday, March 25, at 7.30 pm. The play is a comedy of not-quite biblical proportions, adapted from the Book of Tobit, and written by Patrick Rainville Dorn. The action of the play takes place in Heaven, Tobit’s house in Nineveh, a marketplace in Nineveh, along the Tigris River, and in a house in Ecbatana, during the exile of the Israelite people. The director is Breffni McGuinness from Saint Anthony’s parish and many of the actors are Clontarf based.
